My Tools of Choice - Cameras / Meine bevorzugten Werkzeuge - Kameras
Here are the cameras I'm currently (and since a few years) using. Way back in the past, in the days of analog photography, I had several Minolta cameras and also the famous Praktika (East German made) cameras.
Hier die Kameras, die ich zur Zeit (und seit ein paar Jahren) benutze. Früher, in Zeiten der analogen Fotographie, habe ich einige Minoltas und auch die berühmten Praktikas (aus der DDR) gehabt.

And here is another camera I own, but that I dont use - for good reasons. Its a folding, casette camera from about 1910 to 1920. It uses a casette with a large piece of film, that only captures 1 photography, so it has to be changed every time before making a photo. The casettes need to be filled and emptied in a darkroom. Quiet different to the way we photograph today.
Hier noch eine andere Kamera die ich besitze, aber nicht benutze - aus gutem Grund. Dies ist eine faltbare Platten Kamera, von ca. 1910 bis 1920. Sie verwendet Kasetten die mit einem grossen Stück Fim geladen werden müssen, jeweils für 1 Foto, so das die Kasette für jede Aufnahme gewechselt werden muß. Das befüllen und entleeren der Kasetten muß in einer Dunkelkammer erfolgen. Kein Vergleich zu der Art wie heute fotographiert wird.

Danke schön! Ja, Nikon Produkte sind schon was solides, sie sind ja nicht umsonst quasi der Profi-Standart. Mit Canon gleich dahinter, vieleicht.
Aber sie sind ja auch nicht gerade zum Schnäppchenpreis zu bekommen.

Woher stammt das Raritätsstück denn?
Ich weis gar nicht mehr genau, ich hab das Ding schon 30 Jahre oder so. Hab ich mal irgendwo abgestaubt, bei einer Haushaltsauflösung glaube ich.
Leider sind die gar nicht so rar. Sowas schmeißt man ja nicht weg, auch wenn die Leute sie nicht mehr benutzt haben nachdem der Rollfilm erfunden wurde. Egal, ist halt ein Stück Geschichte, und wirklich handwerklich super gemacht. Der Balg zB. ist aus Leder. Wo gibt es sowas noch heutzutage...

Ja ist immer schön ein Stück Geschichte im Schrank stehen zu haben!
