Adriaan
Here some shots of my hometown Haarlem. The windmill you see at the end of the street is called 'Adriaan'.
The original windmill burned into ashes in 1932. For 70 years no one ever witnessed it in real life again. We only had some grainy black and white pictures and oil paintings to remember it. But 70 years later (in 2002) 'Adriaan' was completely rebuilt again at exactly the same place. It was like we shifted back in time. From that day on it is a distinctive part of the skyline of Haarlem again, like it was for centuries before that.
