Peterhof #1. Lower park

The city in which I live (and this is St. Petersburg) is surrounded by satellite cities. Citizens often call their city Peter, and these satellite towns are called suburbs. I will try to show you all the suburbs of St. Petersburg. If autumn and weather permit, I will make a special series of shots for this project.
And today we will go to Peterhof

The city itself is small but beautiful. People who go there are usually not interested in the city itself. They all want to get into the city park. Do you see this crowd of people? This is the turn of the entrance tickets. Peterhof Park is divided into upper and lower. On the upper you can walk freely. And he is wonderful too. But everyone wants to down. There are fountains, a bay and shady alleys. These people really want to get there. There are many ticket offices, but there are still more people. And how they all fit in this park later ...

We stood in line for more than an hour. There was nothing to do. I had a camera with me. I always have something to do. Together with tickets, these people need to be awarded medals for courage and stamina.

Where do you think we went for a start? Right. We immediately went into the shade to take a break from the people and the sun. It was easier with the sun. The people were everywhere

This is only one of the fountains. If not mistaken Italian. Near all the fountains there was a sea of people. We wanted something more calm.

So we went ashore the Gulf of Finland. It was much quieter here. Less fuss and more air. Although I can’t say that there were very few people. But it was more comfortable.

We walked in the lower park until the evening. The sun was already beginning to retire. There was pleasant fatigue in my legs. It was time to come back. On this I will finish the first part of the report from Peterhof. I do not want to overload the post.
