It’s been a tough few weeks for many with the Stock and Crypto Markets tanking and the devastating fires here in California. It certainly makes one reflect on what is truly important, more so with the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US.

Dude, the first picture looks like a Aivazovsky painting! I hope you took that in HD to get a print of it. Amazing shot! Mom told me about Avo's relatives and the fire. Brutal.
I am impressed that you even remember Aivazovsky! It is quite similar and certainly on worth about 5 SP as opposed to a million USD! Yes I was with Avo last night. very tragic. Rains were not as bad down here, hopefully up north there were no mud slides.
Ya, that sucks about Avo's relatives. Doesn't our cuz have one of those paintings in france? Hopefully they come out this year.

Thanks @phortun. It really sucks out here. Found out last night a close friend lost 2 relatives in the Malibu fires. Recent immigrants (refugees) who came from Aleppo.
Oh man, this is so sad... I am really sorry :(( After escaping the terrors of the Syrian war, they were surely hoping for better life in California but instead... This is truly heartbreaking :(

I just read your comments on here and I am so sorry for your friend. How devastating for that to happen to anyone, but, for those that left their life to start a new, better life, the tragedy is double-fold.
