Cool City From the Highlands
During my visit to Takengon a few months ago. I have been a long time ago not visit this place. In 1990. this place was difficult to reach by vehicle, because access to this place is not good. Since a few years ago the local government makes a way to make it easier transportation to the area. Takengon is located in Province Aceh (Indonesia).
This city is very famous for its beautiful nature, around this city there is a vast lake. This lake is called Danau Lut Tawar. Takengon is a plateau that has cold weather. Takengon city with an altitude of around 1200 m above sea level. The majority of the population here are Gayo people. they are doing activities in the garden everyday and takengon is famous for its place tourism.
