Tree fungus around the corner - how beautiful

Hey,

last winter on a sunny day I had a walk with my wife and daughter. So far, nothing special. But by accident we found this beautiful tree fungus :) We finished our walk but I was really excited and encouraged to grab my camera and get back to the fungus.

Look at the bottom side - it looks like a ray (the animal)!!!

I also made some experiments with liquids:

Hope you like it. May be you sympathize with fungi, at least on your pizza :) But no, I didn't try to eat it. :P
