Minimalistic black and white street photography
Since I started photographing more seriously a year ago I've been torned between color and black and white photography. They both have their advantages, especially in street photography - color is capturing life as it is, vivid and beautiful, while black and white strips away all the distractions and focuses on pure emotion.
No matter how much I love capturing colors, black and white brings something special with it's simplicity. It is dependent on a good light so it's important to pay attention to it when photographing. Fuji cameras for example have some amazing black and white simulations that you can use to look for a good light (even if you are shooting raw).
I've been going through archives today to see what photos would look good monochrome and selected some of them here. Which style do you prefer?

Ugh that’s hard.. I think both can be so beautiful and certain moments in black in white are so incredibly powerful.. #2, #12, #16 stick out to me above (that umbrella shot <3 ) But.. as someone who as seen more of your photos than I should probably admit to ... you have a way with colors... you pick things up, special details.. that take my breath away and I’m not even sure how.
So, while I love black and white.. my vote here is colors.. beautiful vivid colors that you allow to tell a story through your photography.
Yes I can see your point and it's completely valid. I wouldn't be able to imagine shooting only in black and white. Even though it can look amazing, it's very limiting and doesn't show life as it is. So yeah I'll probably stick to colors and occasionally do something like this. :)
