About The Photo

Took this photo at Usman Dam, Bwari local government area, Abuja. I took my friends out to celebrate my birthday, May 6th, 2017 and till date it's one of my favorite pictures, I'm the one in the black shirt.

About The Place

The Usman Dam is a man made dam which supplies the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria with both light and water. It is cased in a natural and breathe taking surrounding which can not be ignored from the undulating land slides to its sizzling rock formation crowned with the interesting cleaves and a shrub savanna vegetation. It is located 25km from Abuja on the way to the Kaduna highway and 6km up the Bwari road.The common vegetation in the area is shrub savanna.
