I think what made it so shallow amd smooth was the lava flow that happened not sp long ago. There are no rocks and boulders. Although it is a little slippery.
Seeing somewhere spotlessly clean is a pleasure @abitcoinskeptic, the home do look neatly placed to enjoy the sound of running water.
Park walks interesting to see an abundance of greens, the bamboo you showed is exactly how it grows in tight little patches here where I live. Thanks for sharing lovely photography of the region and those gorgeous trees.

Man that brings back memories of my trip there a few years back.
Adventuring there was so great and to see it again through your eyes is perfect.

I really like the homes that are built along the streams. Amazing photos of the stream. I would like that bamboo too if it would grow in my zone.
I thought it was a lovely neighborhood. As far as I know bamboo only grows in Vancouver and Victoria areas in Canada...maybe a few other small areas.

I thought that kind of bamboo growth had to do with having less soil to spread out in. It looks really nice. At first I thought it was a strange tree.
It would be a great neighborhood to live in since it is so close to good transportation.
