There is no better feeling than heading out for a relaxing bike ride during a nice and sunny day. Keeping fit should not be a task every single day but a routine just like when you brush your teeth in the morning. Many forms of activities that can enhance our health are mostly overlooked within a busy lifestyle.

Biking around residential streets can be dangerous due to traffic as dodging cars becomes a stressor at a time when your mind is supposed to relax. A safer alternative is investing in a bike rack for your vehicle or throwing your bicycles in the back of a truck and visiting the nearest trail. You can go solo or call a couple of friends and arrange a time to meet to explore the trails.

Exercising is the key to living a balanced life. Blood has to be pumped through all the organs in your body for better circulation. The body heats up and you start to release sweat infused with excessive toxins being flushed out naturally. Then your mouth starts getting dry as the body becomes dehydrated, this is when you stop and take a gulp of water. While you are trying to regain your breath, look around the environment you are situated in, you might witness natural beauty in its purest form. Consisting of lush trees, squirrels digging up walnuts, streams of water flowing seamlessly, and other animals going about their daily life. At that moment you are immersed in a sense of ecstasy which is readily available free for everyone in nature. Exercising releases natural serotonin and increases dopamine levels which are considered happy chemicals in your brain. This elevates your mood and leaves you feeling great as you have just enhanced the biological capabilities of your body organically.

Always wear a helmet, carry a water bottle with a snack, have a bell and beacon lights installed on your bike for yours and other rider's safety. Having a group of friends with you bicycling is a great way to bond with them. You get to work together as a team to maneuver through a trail if one biker is lacking behind the whole team slows down and motivates them to carry on. If you run out of water to drink, you can always count on your friends to share some with you. After a few sessions, your body will be stronger and naturally give you signals to go on the trails again.

If you have not ridden a bicycle before now is the time to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. You can fit a couple of bicycle sessions a week with another form of physical activity to adopt a balanced lifestyle. All in all, go outside and sweat under the beaming sunlight to feel great naturally in the green.
