Distant View

in #photofeed6 years ago

The summer rains have really brought out some nice colors. The beauty of the landscape extends as far as the eye can see. A distant mountain rises up from the Colorado Plateau to meet a pastel blue sky. Giving color balance to the abundant red sandstone and green vegetation.

The colours in this photograph are truly magnificent. There are three distinct different areas, yet they meld into each other so well.

Thanks a lot, great point! The rule of thirds is very important in composition and helps show depth of field. To be able to judge distance.

Wow i never saw Arizona like that

I can see why you would say that. The colors are always changing because of moisture and light.

What a beautiful colors

I agree, exemplary. Thank you!

Really pretty shot! I'm kind of surprised by that spot.. When you frame it like you did there it really has a lot of depth and leads you waaaaaay back into the distance. Plus the foreground is framed well as well and you have a lot going on in the sky, it really keeps your eyes traveling around a bit! Nice work!

That day was so expressive of the monsoon season. It rained and cleared bringing in what I would call perfect afternoon light, a wonderful combination of shadow and highlight. Very special! Thanks!

Marvelous shot you have captured my friend. How much big the Sedina area is? Great place for travelling and enjoy the heavenly beauty.

Thanks my friend, That's a good question. See if this map helps.

Thank you friend for providing the details about Sedona Arizona.

Your welcome! Anytime.

Almost looks like a painting, what a lovely view!

I agree and I like that comparison, I think the soft colors lend to that. Much thanks!

Thank you, for sharing!

Really I like your mind sir.

What fine compliment sir, thanks!

Very colorful landscape, I love that green of the meadow. Sedona is a great place.

Thank you Liznella' this may surprise you but that is actually National Forest mostly Juniper trees. These trees are evergreens and vary a lot in size. Also they are drought resistant and some are hundreds of years old.

In short words for those trees is always spring.

That's close, they look the same year round but also give off pollen and grow Juniper berries which have medicinal properties.

I think your mind is very beautiful like your post.

You are very kind, thank you for that!

My goodness - those colours! That is just amazing, the contrast between the red rock, blue sky and greenery is a perfect representation of our beautiful earth! Stunning; a bit of everything in this picture. What a place! This would look incredible blown up and on display :)

Thanks for such a robust response, you show a genuine appreciation for this amazingly beautiful planet. Yes I agree!
