Color Of Life
The sun shines in upon Cathedral Rock and Oak Creek as a thunderstorm passes by giving off a beautiful rainbow. The riparian environment along the creek is host to many plants and animals that can't survive outside of this zone. The rain is always welcome and helps to show us the color of life.
This image was shot on film in Sedona Arizona USA. And is being entered in @czechglobalhosts 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - North American Friday week #104.
Cool how the color of the sky looks different on either side of the rainbow.

Your right the creek has changed a lot since this was taken, at least fifteen years ago. That's a hard place to get a rainbow. Thanks a lot.

Very Awesome !!! i have to see the pot of gold at the end of that rainbow
That pot of gold is totally elusive, whenever the viewer moves so does the rainbow. Rainbows are refracted light seen at a 40 to 42 degree angle relative to the sun. To me the pot of gold is a beautiful image to share with others. Thank you.

I edit all images for proper color, clarity and light and dark balance which film can fall short on. Thanks for asking and for the nice compliment.
