A Heartbeat Away
The time it takes for light to travel between the Moon and the Earth is equivalent to a human heartbeat. As the sun sets the Coral Pink sand dunes can take on a reddish pink glow, while wind blown ripples in the sand lead up to the crest of a dune and the blue sky beyond.
This image was shot on film at "Coral Pink Sand Dunes" in southern Utah USA. And is being entered in @czechglobalhosts 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - North American Friday week #105.

Your right and after driving fast for hours and rushing in through loose sand. I was only able to shoot a few frames before sunset ended the light. Whew, that was close. Thanks.
That's a classic. I like how detailed the sand is at the bottom and how the shape of the hill sort of pulls the eyes in. It's a beautiful shot and was a fun adventure going out there.
The time at the dunes was short and sweet, but then we did Zion and Cedar Breaks. That was quite a trip. Thanks Paul.

I had similar thoughts about Egypt. because of the almost triangular shape in the image, and lots of sand. Thanks msena.
