Silky Shark
After arriving back to the boat straight after a dive I spotted a bait ball in the distance. We jumped straight back into one of the tinnies and headed towards it. Jumping straight into the water to see what was below was a group of silky sharks.
Most people don't realise that most sharks are incredibly scared of humans and keep a far distance from them, especially if you are on scuba gear - they hate the sound of the bubbles. Silky sharks are the opposite they come in with incredible speed and see what is happening and aren't afraid.

Sharks are something you shouldn't be scared of. They are very misunderstood.
When I saw the photo in the first thing I thought was if the case didn't make you afraid to be so close to a shark. I didn't know that they preferred to get away from humans 😅
Yep! You'll usually find them in the deep blue and not often getting super close
