Photocircle Curation Program, The next wave!

Dear Contributors!

Since we are getting near to completion of the current curation program, it’s about time to update everyone on the next set of program for the upcoming weeks. In the past few days, we have been receiving pledges about their intention to join the daily contests. However, new participants might not be aware of the program in totality. This post will aim explain about it in a simplest way possible.

In total, the curation program will happen in a span of 2 weeks. For each week, we will conduct a daily Top 10 contest with a specific category. At the of this 2-week program, we will select conteders from the winners of daily Top 10 contest. These contenders will go through a voting round, where in Steemians can select & vote for their choice. The contender with the most votes will be awarded with the Hall of Fame badge, the top prize for this 2-week curation program.

Let’s start with the daily Top 10 Contributors contest

At the start of the project, we are only using 1 tag to scout for the participant’s photos ~ the #photocircle tag. As the project grew from few submissions to hundreds on a daily basis. Which is almost impossible for us to keep up. Having that in mind, we have released the new 10 tags for a specific category. See below.

The new reward system for the 10 winners will go this way:

Top 1 photo = @photocircle upvote + 1 steem prize

Top 2 - 10 photos = @photocircle upvote + 0.10 steem prize

What about the Photocircle Hall of Fame?

In addition to the program, we have created the Photocircle Hall of Fame. This new feature will aim to distill the Top Contributors of the 2-week curation program and come up to a single (1) author that will earn the title "Photocircle Hall of Fame badge".

What are the entitlements & rewards for the Hall of Famer?

Feature

• The chosen author / photographer will be featured on the Photocircle's Hall of Fame publication that will showcase the author’s assets and author's best works

Support

• The @photocircle account will support one of the photographer’s daily post by means of an upvote for a whole (1) month

Reward

• The chosen Hall of Famer will also be rewarded with a Token of Appreciation in a form of five (5) sbd / steem
