As long as we are in denial of aspects of who we are, there is a chance that we will be 'filling up' with nothing more than emptiness while being firmly convinced that we are being nourished by the light of life and consciousness.
As long as the mind continues to dictate to the self a version of reality that is not connected with real feelings, we have no ability to truly discern fact from fiction and little chance of survival or wellbeing!

I looked through that book in the Bible a little and got the impression that the quote was not from Jesus' own words but someone else. Do you know who was actually speaking there?
That message was for the Church in Colossians by Saint Paul.
Saint Paul was an Apostle of Jesus to spread the messages he learned From Jesus.
