Dragonflies are included in the Odonata family. The word 'Odonata' comes from Greek meaning tooth. This word is given to the Odonata family because it is believed they have teeth, although it was eventually discovered that the dragonfly chews its prey using its jaw instead of its teeth.
Dragonflies are known to often fly above the water surface and cause small ripples with a soft touch of his feet. The human subconscious is believed to do the same. The symbolism of the dragonfly states that the subconscious mind has the ability to let the deeper thoughts reappear to the surface, just as when dragonflies touch the surface of the water and create ripples in the calm waters.
Dragonflies have a very short life, but through many things in their short life. Dragonflies are a symbol of how well we have to live our lives no matter how short a time we have. That's because, every person needs to have a purpose in life and try his best to realize that goal.
