Good thoughts. I agree that our presence within community is an outflow of who we are alone. I find that my personal time to write, reflect, journal, and meditate gives me new insight and direction when coming back into community. I am strengthened and renewed.

If we constantly fill our lives with distractions and amusements, looking for community only insofar as it meets our need to be connected, then we don't have much to bring to each other. Rather, we will be feeding off each other, draining our souls dry.
