Army's top shooter in rifle category wins gold for the Philippines.

Scoring 197/200 for match 1 yesterday, Sgt Rodney Rizano beats the AARM record of 195/200 (his own record in AARM 2014 held in Hanoi, Vietnam).

Rizano is a four time overall champion in AARM rifle category.

Sanoy as his team mates call him hopes to get his fifth title this year...

Also shooting for the Philippines is Sgt Angelo Bonagua who won Bronze for match 1 in carbine category.

The ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) is an annual shooting event participated by 10 ASEAN Countries

The objective of AARM is to strengthen the relationship among the member armies from its military leaders down to its foot soldiers.

AARM was initially hosted by Malaysia in 1991.
