Working mother

Odd as it may seem but playing games in the middle of a stressful day at work, (workload, audit with steemit) makes my mind relax and help me to concentrate again at work. Back in my younger years, I wonder why my mother would play games on​ the pc even if she has​ pending works to do like making her lesson plans - files after files. I now truly understand why. My mind can not think straight when I am not relaxed​ so I need to find time to play like for 30 minutes and so I can function well again.

Right now, I am waiting for the auditor to call me for some clarifications​ in our accounts and I am lucky my boss got a Filipino auditor for 2 years now to check our financial statement since I always have a hard time understanding accounts even for the basic accounting terms. I am a psychology graduate and I ended up working here in the ​Middle East as an accountant. It is quite funny because back in college days, I didn't take accounting course​ because I hate computations and numbers but I still ended up doing the accounts here. 9 years after, I learned to love this job but totally hate when auditing time comes​. Haha!! Our audit officially started​ yesterday and went home tired​ and craved for sweets (craves especially when stressed) BUT productive and it is actually a rewarding feeling.

I am just glad we don't have work tomorrow so I can finally rest my tired mind and sleep. Me and my husband haven't​ had decent sleep for nearly a week now because we have a sick little one to attend to. He wakes up crying in the​ middle of the night and we really don't know why. Maybe he is not comfortable with his colds. He also got a ​fever. Sometimes when he wakes up he lifts my head and wants me to get up to ​carry him in my arms so he can drift back to sleep. I hope he gets better soon.

To wrapped up my week today, busy but productive, tired but fulfilled, sleepy but loved.
