Photo(s) Every Day: Track and Field (13/365)
Through my camera lens, I'll tell you my story. Showing the world as I see it. Whether in full color or in black and white. Caught in a photo or two, a collage; A bit of my story, one day at a time.

I went to Burnham Park this morning at around 6:30 a.m. I knew that I would be able to see a lot of activites going on in the park. From experience, I knew that there would be zumba dance group. My friend and I used to come here to run on the track. It was nice to see people out and about on a Friday morning.
First, I went straight to where the zumba group dancers were and here is what I saw.
The sign of the park and behind it were zumba dancers. They were mostly women and middle age.
Back view of the zumba dancers.
I took a moment to just listen to the music that they were dancing. It was an upbeat song.
As I was done watching the zumba dancers, I went straight to the track and field.
Walking towards the track and field, I saw these couple mingling.
As I approach the track and field, I saw this kid, Jay, playing his football/soccer.
I had to stop and actually ask him if I could take a photo of him doing tricks.
First thing I noticed in the track was this teacher teaching his students about track and field.
He was telling his students where the start of each race are. On this picture, he said that the 1500m and 3000m starts on this area. I knew this facts too because I was part of my high school track and field. It was a familiar place to be and it brought back memories of my high school years.
I took this photo after the teacher and his students left the field.
I remember I used to do laps with my co-athletes. We used to do 2 laps for warm up then stretch. After stretching, we would then do our workout for the day. Finishing off the day, we would then stretch again with a cool down of course.
Here are some volleyball players just taking a rest after practice.
Coming back to watch people run brought back memories of my high school years. Sports has always been a big part of my life. It influenced me to do great things in my life.
I was inspired by @gamer00 to do a One Photo Everyday (OPED) challenge. I have done a similar challenge in the past but I wasn't able to finish them. The furthest I have done was 300 days. Today will be a new day because this platform is better at providing support to do a daily photo for 365 days.
Thank you for reading and make sure to keep up with me and my Photo Everyday Challenge/365 Photo Challenge.
Salamat po!

I used to like to run, especially while listening to music. I got away from that though. Maybe I could do it again.
Running is always fun and relaxing in my opinion. It used to be my stress reliever. I will go back running again soon once I am more free from school.
