How To Execute DELETE query to MySQL Database Server using Perl Language?
In previous few posts, I explained about the INSERT, UPDATE, and SELECT query. So I thought I should add one more video regarding the DELETE query as well. And it's not that difficult especially if you have learned the UPDATE query, it won't be difficult for you to get the DELETE query.
So here's an example of the DELETE query that you can check out for your database using Perl.
my $sql = "DELETE FROM table_name WHERE id=?";
As you can see here the table_name stands for your table name. And the id is basically the id from the table where you should be pointing which needs to be deleted. So it does seem like a good approach for anyone to try out this query only when they wish to delete some data.
Hopefully the video helps you with the DELETE query in the mysql database table in Perl.
