Here's my entry to @worldcapture's Peoplephotography.
This is a photo of kid on her costume, as she waits for their turn to present in the festival competition. She is part of Tribu Lawod, one of the contingents in the school-based competition, Buraburon Festival of Festivals in Burauen, Leyte. It is held every December as part of the celebration of the town's fiesta. The festival would usually start with a street parade, then dance presentation follows.
Buraburon Festival basically portrays the vibrant and beautiful culture of Burauen. The dance festivals tells stories of the town being abundantly blessed with many springs, and how it saved people from drought in the past. From Buraburon, which means "having many springs", the word later evolved to Burauen, and that's how the town got its name.

You have captured the kid expression well @meetmysupergo. She still has the innocent look although her face express with anxious on the competition. The yellow color in the photo also very stunning. I like this photo.
