Patreon is gearing up against child abuse, child porn, child sex and other deviant "rewards for patrons".

Someone I follow on Twitter retweeted this statement from Patreon:

...Makes me wonder if some unscrupulous souls were selling child porn/child sex using Patreon's services... because they (the company) wouldn't make a statement like that unless they stumbled across something that would prompt them to do so (and cover their asses legally speaking).

It doesn't surprise me that people would use Patreon's services to create what they would consider a safe area to trade in shady things such as child porn; it's what happens when there's a means to create a Member's Only area.
