Trajectory of Life 生命航程

Recently I have two friends who came across shocking incidents. One friend’s house was burnt and an important section of the house has to be rebuilt. The other friend lost her husband due to pancreatic cancer. Humanly speaking, these are unfortunate incidents or tragedies that no one likes to come across. And to different extent, their lives are affected.

In fact, the lady who lost her husband recognised that the sudden departure of her husband has completely changed her life. Both my two friends are strong believers of Jesus Christ and they trust Him in a difficult time. In spite of the shocking events, they are authentically secure because of their faith.

There are incidents which may change the trajectory of life. More than a year ago I wrote the following, which I believe it is a valid conviction:

最近我有两位朋友遇到了对他们很大冲激的事情。一个朋友的房子被火烧，房子的一个重要部分必须重建。另一位朋友则因丈夫胰腺癌而失去了配偶。从人的角度来说，这些都是不幸的事件或悲剧。在不同程度上，他们的生活均受到了影响。

事实上，失去丈夫的女士因丈夫的突然离去而生活必须彻底改变。我的两位朋友都是耶稣基督的坚定信徒，他们在困难时期还是信靠祂。尽管发生了令人震惊的事件，但由于他们的信仰，他们有真正的保障。
