🍌 Is steemit a banana republic?
Banana Program.... hm.. First thing that comes to my mind when I see a banana, strangely enough is: pesticides. Wash your hands after you peel it right away.
Alright, I know bananas are supposed to be good for us. The word sure is funny in a way. I would like to know if it’s the original name for the fruit for as long as anyone can remember or if it was designed and or promoted for us to sound good...
But then again there is banana republic. Is it something good or bad ? I would mostly associate that with a kinda fishy regime and barely working government, not necessarily in favor of the population. Still it sounds harmless at best or even funny, which I suppose that lies in the nature of the word banana. Haha... makes me think of steemit having a few things in common with a banana republic. Anarchic population for sure!

The one thing I think is definitely good about bananas, is that it is much safer to hang out under a banana tree than a coconut tree...

Definitely good about bananas - a little trivia about bananas: a natural way to treat warts:
Banish Warts with Banana Peel - I tried it, it works! It takes a long time, about 2 weeks, and you have to use a fresh peel from a ripe, but not overripe banana, so doing the treatment, you eat a lot of bananas. All you need is a snippet of the peel to apply with tape over night.
washing hands - if my sister sees that advice, she'd scrub until her skin comes off! Myself, I think worry is far more dangerous to your health, lol - I told my sis to build up immunity, she should lick the handholds in the U-Bahn - and guess what: she is the one that always gets sick, but not me.

I get similar on WhatsApp when I try to write German. My cell is set to English, and spellcheck screws me up royally. On my computer, I got both languages so no problem.
