So in case, you haven't heard the awesome @c0ff33a, who basically put on his hero boots here at steem has decided to delegate 100SP to one lucky and of course deserving @welcomewagon graduate or newbie!! Why I Think I Deserve The 100 SP by @mimismartypants

So this part is the hardest for, I'm not one to blow my own horn, so motivations like these really don't come naturally to me. My whole life, I have been a firm believer that the calibre of my work is proof of my capability. It's always been of a high standard, so I always had the plus side that it kinda speaks for itself! Like they say, the "Proof is in the pudding!"

Let's Take A Closer Look And Think About This

I haven't been around on the blockchain for long, so there is not much proof in my capabilities, and also you don't know me at all, so for all you know I could be a real dud!! And no one wants to invest in a dud now, do they!!

Then we have the dilemma of why me, @mimismartypants, a loud mouth know it all should get the prize in comparison to some of the fantastic members of the welcome wagon - who have been doing really great work for months and months on the blockchain? Like why risk it all on this pair of pants??

The Truth Is: I Don't Know Why??

I'd like to say I have the dream of becoming a super friendly big fish and doing some good on the blockchain. Invest in newbies, encourage them to grow and give them a means to the end over here. I do think that all of us in the Welcome Wagon has this in common. Great personalities who are so helpful and keen to help each other grow, share advice and findings and even be a shoulder to cry on when things feel like they going nowhere slowly. So this reasoning won't cut it at all.

So many of the people I have spoken to about steemit seem interested, but they put off by the work they have to put in to build their accounts. They all have the attitude of "let's see how you do and then we will join if you are successful." This is probably the wrong the wrong type of users to recruit, but they are also the type of people that will create a ton of content on other social media platforms for free. So my thing is why not earn a buck or two by doing the same thing.

So the main point that I'd like to communicate today I suppose is "Proof of Concept." It's the main thing that brings me back here each day, that if I can prove this system works on my own account, it will be so much easier to recruit new people to join. Showing them the ropes and helping them find that blockchain addition would be the goal so that overall we can grow the user base and have so much more to read and share. Ultimately, we will help build a platform on a lucrative platform, with loads of active users who will intern get their circles to join as well.

If I get that extra bit of SP it will help me get a little more respect in the steemiverse and proof of concept so much faster. If I don't someone else will, who deserves it as well and I just wrote a very reflective Ulog which qualifies as an awesome piece of content.

So thanks for the opportunity @c0ff33a, if I don't make the cut, I won't feel bad. I will eventually get to 100SP and then 500 organically!!
