Interesting. I've never seen egg bread before. Looks tasty. So what's the batter surrounding the egg? Is it like a pancake sort of thing?

Yes. This is a Korean food. You put one egg into some pancake batter and then put it (uncovered) into the microwave for 2 minutes. That's it. It's really easy...and delicious.
