Life, Uh, Finds a Way
I was always fascinated by plants growing out of places they are not supposed...to grow. You know, concrete, rocks, or whatever. Especially when they are a bit complex like a tree or something.
And today as I was taking my bike for a ride I met one of those. It seems to be some weird kind of flower but I have no idea what it is so feel free to identify it in the comments if you can!

i was just watching the movie COntact 1997 and it has all this jurassic park refrences like the latin america,the 1990s jeep, its like the 1990s were one big tourism commercial for latin america
I remember loving this movie when I watched in the cinema! I will put it on my watch list to fresh my memories :)
I ran it through a plant shazam style app and it says it's a Celosia Argentea or a Silver Cock Comb (rofl)

That's actually a weird one, whenever I see plants growing out of weird place they are usually small plants without any flowers, but that's a full grown flower, which is weird, and even weirder that nobody pulled it out, don't you guys have city employees that clean and take care of the city?
lol, this is Greece. Cleaning employes are public workers which means that they get paid top notch money for drinking frape all day long.

This plant is called "plumed cockscomb".
I had no idea what's the name, so I download one of your pictures, at next I've upload it by "Google Pictures" and Google showed me sites with this and similiar pics and the name of this plant.😁
