Bitcoin x Banks
I believe one of the main reasons we use Bitcoin is because of the war of the banks against the population. I know not all banks are bad, but we are talking about big banks, corporations that lobby governments, and are as rotten as any kind of state.
While I believe all institutions should be free to profit from legitimate activities, banks are usually not reputable, and always in the midst of fraud problems, and collusion with white-collar criminals. Let's look at some examples of international banks that are involved in such cases.
- Wells Fargo. Fined for abuse, customer theft of funds, scams, mortgage and insurance fraud, fake accounts and collection of fees that were not in the contract signed by customers.
- HSBC. Laundering of money from South American drug cartels.
- JPMorgan. Fined for corruption, fraud, and activities related to Ponzi schemes and other fraudulent activities.
- Bank of America. Investor fraud.
PS: These are just the cases that got caught, imagine how many others are happening or happened and could not be exposed.
Banks have centralized power, and are always in co-participation with governments. In the end, the simple people who lose money, which are us, consumers. That's why we need Bitcoin, because then we will have no more problems with these scams involving these institutions.
