This is an authentic technique, daring in spite of the yield sometimes, because it does not allow for second thoughts, leaves the trace of everything that is realized on the sheet ... and therefore sincere without changes. Here the journey of the warrior becomes adventure, the ship plows the sea proud and without fear ... it seems to glimpse Corto Maltese, the modern Ulysses, turn his gaze to the horizon on which the viewer is positioned, ready to discover new worlds and plow new seas. L’acquerello è una tecnica molto cara all’artista Sodano.
Questa è una tecnica autentica, audace a dispetto a volte della resa, perché non permette ripensamenti, lascia la traccia di tutto ciò che si realizza sul foglio… e quindi sincera senza ripensamenti. Qui il viaggio del guerriero si fa avventura, la nave solca il mare fiera e senza paura...sembra di intravedere Corto Maltese, il moderno Ulisse, volgere lo sguardo verso l’orizzonte sul quale è posizionato lo spettatore, pronto a scoprire nuovi mondi e solcare nuovi mari. Che l’avventura abbia inizio!!!

I velieri sono sempre stati un elemento affascinante nel mare.
Con loro, non mi nascondo nel riconoscere che anche i pirati, ai quali sono direttamente o indirettamente collegati, hanno rappresentato un'epoca storica veramente avvincente; in particolare tutte le leggende legate al Mar dei Caraibi, tornate in auge con il film di Jack Sparrow, mi hanno sempre incuriosito.
