Greetings to everyone! My watercolor work I present to you today comes from a commission of a friend of mine: Andrea Antonelli Master of Horn and director of a music school in Italy.
One day he showed up in my studio and asked me if I wanted to paint a watercolor horn.
I was very happy with the committee and I tried to get myself told about his life and I tried to get to know his other interests as well. It emerged that his grandfather was a large grape grower and produced an excellent white wine called "Moscato".
A vine that grows particularly well in Lazio and in particular in the province of Terracina.
So I had the idea to tell a beautiful story in color of the typical grape of Moscato and the horn that fits perfectly with the color of its brass between the earth and the golden color of the grape.
In the background above the mountain the famous Roman temple of Jupiter Anxur, in Terracina, completes the composition.
I confess that I had many difficulties in designing the horn with its swirls and its turns.

Un caro saluto a tutti! Il mio lavoro ad acquarello che vi presento oggi nasce da una commissione di un mio amico: Andrea Antonelli Maestro di Corno e direttore di una scuola di musica in Italia.
Un giorno si è presentato nel mio studio e mi ha chiesto se avessi voglia di dipingere un Corno ad acquarello.
Io sono stato molto felice della commissione e ho cercato di farmi raccontare qualcosa sulla sua vita ed ho cercato di conoscere anche altri suoi interessi. E' emerso che suo nonno fosse un grande coltivatore di uva e producesse un ottimo vino bianco denominato "Moscato".
Un vitigno che cresce particolarmente bene nel Lazio e in modo particolare nella provincia di Terracina.
Quindi ho avuto l'idea di raccontare una bella storia a colori dell'uva tipica del Moscato e del corno che si inserisce perfettamente con il colore del suo ottone tra la terra ed il colore dorato dell'uva.
Sullo sfondo sopra la montagna il famoso tempio romano di Giove Anxur, a Terracina, fa da completamento alla composizione.
Confesso che ho avuto molte difficoltà nel disegnare il corno con le sue volute ed i suoi giri.
