MediBloc Based Blockchain Technology: Saving Lives Your Medical Data

How MediBloc will change the medical data industry! MediBloc as an open source protocol that defines itself as a platform built on a blockchain system for a decentralized health ecosystem for patients, service providers or health practitioners and researchers. The security of each individual as a single ruler in the current blockchain system really affects and becomes an attraction in various aspects of human life, especially the health field. Because health is fundamental to humans to keep existence in their life.

The medical record operates as a closed system in every medical transaction between physician and patient, with an individual medical institution having a primary stewardship of the patient's medical records. The exchange of personal medical data is not permissible and generally becomes a violation of health ethics and patient data usually remains scattered in hospitals and clinics without patients being able to have it.

However, MediBloc as a platform based blockchain is working to remedy this situation by putting the patient as the primary controller of his personal data holders rather than the medical providers, as the center of the personal health record management paradigm.

MediBloc was established in Seoul, South Korea in 2017. Allen Wookyun Kho (former leader of software engineer at Samsung) and dr. Eunsol Lee (a medical and technical expert who earned a degree in the same year in medicine and software engineers). The two entrepreneurs who switched in health aspects join to take advantage of new opportunities to improve the current medical ecosystem using digital technology.

MediBloc's work procedure is to bring changes to the patient's complete health autonomy such as helping doctors provide better care, better diagnosis of course with more personalized health services. Or the current term through smart contract peer to peer (P2P). And MediBloc is not just an ordinary platform that simply exchanges roles, but MediBloc where that doctor and patients can get rewards by sharing data on the network. Likes ** the more you share and the more you get ** your reward. Patients then can use these rewards to pay for medical services with providers that have partnered with MediBloc.

What is the impact of people having full control over their medical records? The impact for patients, they can manage all their medical data through personal mobile devices, as well as receive continuous treatment from any medical institution. Even the Hospital will still benefit by providing patients with easy access to their medical records.

How can this impact the way medical data is used in the medical field, and other relevant parties such as insurers and researchers?Through the system of awards set by MediBloc based on crypto currency ie Meditoken. When a doctor enters patient data on the MediBloc platform, doctors and patients will be compensated by points that can be converted to Meditokens. Then patients can use Meditoken like cash to pay hospital bills or purchase a variety of digital health care services such as health insurance, and research institutions and companies interested in purchasing medical records directly from patients can pay through Meditoken.

What is the effect of having established partnerships with major corporations on the integration of MediBloc once MainNet is launched? An effective fundraising model for MediBloc platform where Investors naturally become active users and platform promoters, then their Meditoken value will increase along with platform growth. At the initial start up MediBloc raised funds through a coin offering, a new fundraising mechanism whereby the new project became a crypto benchmark to attract investors who joined the crypto rewards that existed such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

How is digital medical data storage on the blockchain superior to traditional medical data storage methods? Blockchain database is a public ledger that distributes openly, records transactions among all participants in the network, no data can be hidden. Data stored in blockchain, can not be edited, deleted or overwritten. If applied to the health data storage, the recording is kept intact. There is also no central authority such as a hospital that has the potential to mimic or eliminate the tracks of the patient's personal medical records.

Once a post is made then shared with everyone on the network, it will not be deleted or tampered with. This is the hallmark of the blockchain-based platform that ensures the safety and authenticity of medical records and will remain forever.
