The Next Layer Of Evolution: IONChain

Before I unveil the awaiting future package, you should first get a clear understanding of what IOT is. The IOT fully known as internet of things, an embedded network that have to do with physical devices such as our vehicles, home appliances. You could picture it this way, let's say you had your home appliances turned ON before leaving the house, thinking it was OFF and you then remembered, with IOT technology you really don't have to worry about it because you can simply get full control over these things like your lighting point, receptacles and fans. It goes as far as controlling most of your physical devices that can get access to this network. The IOT got extension into industrial, consumer (just like your physical home devices), commercial, and infrastructure spaces. This network has a lot to do with data and these involved data circulation, data security, data sharing and data transaction. All these categories also serve as a problem to the IOT technology system, and here comes the big question "HOW CAN THESE PROBLEM BEING SOLVED". Worry no more because IONChain has come into the picture to help solve this problem.

WHAT IS IONChain

From the aspect of the Theory of ionization although this is more of the chemistry segment but don't worry, it's something everyone can understand. Let's say you pour salt inside a bowl filled with water, you will find out that the salt will dissolved inside the water but what really happened is that the salt dissociates into two types of particles to form ions, meaning that combination of these ions will give you back the salt and from this illustration you can see that the ions are very necessary for you to attain a perfect salt. This can be seen from the aspect of IONChain which serve as an essential and supportive link to help bring a perfect decentralized P2P (Peer-to-peer) communication of the IOT ecosystem.

The IONChain render a smart contract which enables an automatic exchange of data among this physical devices with a facilitated concept including:

In the network of Internet of Things devices, nodes are distributed in a computing way and this can be seen as an Edge computing technology which is adopted by the IONChain to help the IOT network as regards its devices to help serve as a mining machine and creating room for mining rewards. From the illustration I gave above about you trying to control your home appliances from far away although during this control, there might be delay in response but with the edge computing technology, this is no longer an issue to worry about.

The blockchain and the Edge computing

On a Second thought, speaking of the blockchain technology and that of the edge computing, knowing the ground of both, you might want to ask me "of what use it is combining both together". The blockchain is actually a decentralized digital technology that distribute ledger and with this, the system help to document transaction as regards liquid currencies. It goes as far as generating a platform for social communication. So think about combining it with the edge computing technology, well with this combination it will enhance an harmonious organization of automation workflow, a perfect and reliable configuration. It goes as far as creating a scalable and flexible distribution of data, now you can see that the problem of circulation, sharing and transaction of data are being solved.

One Device, One Code, One Coin

Device, Code, Coin and adding One to it might seems a little bit strange but each of this word has a preeminent representation in the IOT network as well as that of the IONChain. The IONChain team actually came up with this facilitated concept which speak of a unique identification. The "Device" speak more of the internet of things physical devices I mentioned earlier, meaning there's a better way of which the IONChain team has embedded theses devices into the IONChain system. Also with the literal understanding of the word "Coin" which stands for IONC, it tell more of the IONChain mining rewards to help attract more person into the system and finally on this concept, the "Code" which is used as a unique representation of data right there in the network and with this, each data can be traced to its very own starting because the code is embedded in the IOT devices(the hardware).

IOT economy and Mass adoption,Use cases

So far we have seen how the internet has transformed a lot of businesses; from internet banking to having online stores. This has lead to an increase in the usage of the internet. Combining this with IOT which gives office and home appliances opportunity to engage in one Communion. With this, business marketing is expected to increase and become more effective.

It is true that IOT is still trying to gain more ground however, it has been able to prove itself in some task that needs constant human attention for example Automobile servicing: with IOT you and your automobile engineer could always get notification on your mobile phones. when your car needs servicing or what components needs to be replaced. You could also get notification on when your fuel is in the reserve level.

In the health sector, as a doctor you will be able to monitor your patients vitals; if they are improving. You could also prescribe medications to your patients around the world. IOT will also bring about effective power consumption of office and home appliances because devices will only come ON when they are needed and go OFF when they are not needed. If all of this are already accepted in the society then I see a larger prospect of IOT improving the economy cutting across various sectors such as;

The Telecommunications industry: with the increase of IOT devices on the world wide web, this will lead to more data subscription form users of various mobile networks.

Hardware manufacturing: as the need for IOT devices increase, so will hardware manufacturing and fabrication increase.

Data Science: with many IOT devices, accessing data analyzed in real time will be more effective.
Transportation: this will decongest transport parks, because customers can make there bookings anywhere in the world.

Conclusion

In conclusion, with IONChain, there will be a standard way of data interpretation in IOT; through the implementation of the "one device, one coin and one code". Due to the sensitivity of data being transferred, IONChain aims at solving the following issues associated with data transfer such as; data storage, data circulation, data security and data transaction. Users can also be elected as a member of the IONChain council.

In my own view, combing data science and artificial intelligence (A.I) with IOT enabled devices will improve and also help the adaptation of IOT enabled devices.
