I've only done a couple of gigs with the looper.... I've made my living as a pro player playing in bands ..... and no you haven't asked that before :-) but I've had it and wanted to.... BOOKING has been a thorn in my side all my adult life :-)
Mine too - I quit actively doing it. I participate in the hosting of a popular local jam, where enough freelance gigs find me to keep me fed, and that's been my passive strategy for the last few years.
I've hosted alot too through the years....even have a webpage, www.markaustinband.com/openmic Musicians who love what yo udo are a lot easier to deal with than club owners :-)
