Steemit Open Mic week 124 - The Partisan (Leonard Cohen Cover ) @jubei333
This is my entry for this weeks open mic contest.
I went with Leonard Cohens The Partisan this week as I had an idea to try keying out the guitar body to try replacing it with some war themed footage.
Ive never tried doing that before and I have never seen anyone else do it.I got the idea when I messed around at Christmas time and made this video for my nephews.Notice how the Robin Hood footage appears in the body of the guitar as well as on the wall.
The way the footage appeared through the guitar body made me wonder if I could just key it out...Here are a few of the cooler results....

I also got a chance to practice my French with this tune as there are 3 French verses which are alot of fun to sing.Im not sure my pronounciacion of the French is correct but for anyone interested here are the words...

Nicely done. The war scenes are an interesting addition to the Cohen song. Very clever! And the Robin Hood song is great... I'll bet the kids loved it I sure did!
Yeah the Robin Hood song was fun I might redo that one at some point.
Remember to smile when you are singing it! Well not for the whistling parts. That would be hard to do!
