One Photo Every Day: 142/365, Monday photo of red flowers, ดอกไม้สีแดงในสวน, the OPED project.
From time to time, my thought travels back to the time I got this pot plant of red flowers. I have resigned to the fact that I will never see the old lady who gave me this plant four years ago. By this time, she must be over 82 years old, that’s if she is still alive! I have to search for the old photos one day!
She’s such a lovely old lady with very unfortunate life path. She could have almost everything she could ever dreamt of in her life time. But one day she made a wrong investment decision and lost everything and became poor! She did not listen to my objections and chose to believe the bankers instead. She lost all her houses and lands; she disappeared from Bangkok high society. I searched for her for several days and found her whereabout by asking many locals in the area. She was very pleased to see me at the door step of her rented house. That was five years ago.
ต้นไม้นี้ทำให้คิดถึงคนที่ให้มาเมื่อสี่ปีที่แล้ว เราไม่ได้เจอเธอมาเกือบสองปีแล้ว ถ้าเธอยังมีชีวิตอยู่ก็จะมีอายุมากกว่า 82 ปีแล้ว อดคิดถึงไม่ได้ ไม่รู้ว่าเป็นอย่างไร เธอเป็นคนที่ใจดีและน่ารักมาก เธอควรจะมีทุกสิ่งทุกอย่างที่ต้องการในชีวิตนี้ แต่วันหนึ่งเธอตัดสินใจผิดไปเชื่อนายธนาคารในเรื่องการลงทุน ไม่ยอมฟังข้อทักท้วงของเรา ในที่สุดเธอสูญเสียทั้งบ้านและที่ดิน ต้องกลายเป็นคนจน และหนีหน้าออกจากสังคมกรุงเทพฯ เราตามหาเธอหลายวัน ต้องไปเดินถามผู้คนตามถนนและร้านค้า. จนกระทั่งไปยืนเคาะประตูที่หน้าบ้านเช่าของเธอ. นั่นเป็นเวลาห้าปีมาแล้ว

It’s a sad story as she’s such a good and gentle person, but too nice and gullible. She never looked at people’s negative sides!!

A touching story about the old lady ... Your story showed me that you are a good and kind person who is able to sympathize with someone else's grief. Such, unfortunately, a little.
Beautiful flower. It's called "adenium." I have only white color and a flower with two rows of petals.
