RE: Kind of a Sad Day

in #oldtimers7 years ago (edited)

Oh! I love to find a heads-up penny! Yeah, I am still immature like that. If you say something the same time as me, I am likely to stick out my pinky-finger and yell "you owe me a coke" Really strange, because I have never drank coke. :) Oh, the things we pick up in life and never let go.

Swwwweeeet Jesus! That first shot took my breath away! How could I forget how beautiful those sunrise/sunsets are up there? Selective memory brings me straight to the winter when I think of there. I have no idea why. I had a summer house up there. (my family did anyway) My fondest memory is a snowstorm on May 5th.... 24 inches. I was in cutoffs and flip-flops. It was summer everywhere else in the world.

I digress.

Beautiful shots, PAUL. It really was a weird kind of day, even here. It looked like fall, smelled like fall and by God, it felt like summer. I don't get it, but, it made the morning run sweaty. Ugh.

I honestly think that 1,000 calories are too little for you. I know it won't be for long, but, your body does better with consistency (and patience) will pay off in the long run. There is no quick fix and you don't want your body to go into a conserve mode because you are basically starving it. I would definitely up it to 1600-1800 and you will still lose weight and in a nice healthy way. Stop skipping meals. Should I mind my own business now?? :(

I would rather see a little healthy progress and a lifestyle change than a get rich quick scheme that will send you back to start over time.

Your photography is superb and I am so looking forward to the blazing colors- coming to your neighborhood soon. The boat is a bummer, but, I can remember the year my brother left his in a little bit too long, but, I don't want to pass bad family stories around.. :)

Have a great night and thanks for taking me around the beautiful hood. I would tell you about the sad story with my low voting power, but, I am going to give it all I got! Don't get too excited. I am still a young minnow. :) I just looked. It netted a whole penny. Don't get too excited. That is almost a deadbeat. Yikes.

Oh so no peanuts in your Coke for you?!?! Well ok then, I suppose some Mt Dew and beer isnt on your menu either.

No, your business IS my business! Thats how this whole social media thing works. I agree the larger amount of calories gives a likely better chance of success over time.

Oh I can imagine. If you own a boat, you are prone to a million more chances for failure it seems lol. My neighbor left in a single pole from his dock in. The DNR were furious! Fining him a per day rate till he got it removed. They had to use propane torches to free his pole LOL.

Well Denise, its the thought that counts. I appreciate your vote no matter what. I have taken a couple of thousand of dollars out of here. Some days I wish I had powered that up instead!

Hope your night is peaceful and enjoyable as well. Nights on the lake are usually nice except sometimes a couple of geese have a territorial war at 4 am or so lol.

Haha! I hear you! My house fronts a lake and the Canadian Geese have taken over. Please some and take them back.

Get some swans, they seem to keep them at bay somewhat.

Haha. I'm pretty sure there is no store for that. :)
