I envy you! We're hoping to make the shift to off the grid living. Now is study time and looking for land time. I consider many out there my teachers, living proof. Cheers. It's been a wet winter here, just as the Farmer's Almanac predicted. Unseasonably above average temperatures after the arctic vortex around the new year. By the way, have you ever read The One Straw Revolution by Masanobu Fukuoka? I'm just delving into his ideas now. Fascinating. Master Fukuoka definately had it going on.

It wasn't uncommon for him to set regional yield records for rice production AND get a harvest of barley off the same land.

His insights concerning trees are quite educational.
