Hi to all Steemians,

Well, after waiting more than a decade (no kidding, it's really about 15 years of waiting lol), my brother and me finally purchased a dream house.

The house itself located at the suburb of Kuala Lumpur, which is about 40 minutes distance away (not too near to Kuala Lumpur, but still not too far as well).

Even though it's not a brand new house (it's been more than 10 years built), but the condition itself is looks like a brand new.

The land area of the house is approximately 35 feet wide and 70 feet long (roughly about 228 square metres)

Before that, the owner lent out the house to the local university students. However, after the accommodation inside the university is fully built, all those students don't want to rent it anymore.

Since there are so many bedrooms inside the house (3 downstairs and 4 upstairs), we decided to tear off one of the extra bedroom and transform it into a bigger living room!

We don't want to use the big hammer to knock down the wall, because it will damage the whole structure (the cement wall itself may crack, if we use too much of force on it).

Hence, we've used the most time consuming method to tear off the gypsum partition wall - Pull out all the screws by using both screwdrivers + electric power drill one by one and tear the wall off one at a time!

To be frankly, it took more than 8 hours (from 11:30 am morning until 8:30 pm) to finish all the tear off process.

Meanwhile, we also climbed to the attic and fixed the leaking water tanks by ourselves (it's quite an easy task, just need to fix the water float valve and used duct tape to stabilize it).

The most disgusting scene is... we noticed that inside one of the water tanks was fulled with cockroaches bodies (more than one dozen) We scooped out the bodies and let the water flow out (don't think I will use it to wash my face or rinse my teeth XD).

My thought for this project - it's not a very hard work, but you do require some stamina to keep climbing up and down.

各位亲爱的斯丁密伙伴好鸭！

经过了十多年的花开花落（嗯，我没有开玩笑，真的等待了超过15年），我和我弟终于买了一间梦寐以求的房子。

该房子的地点位于吉隆坡郊区，离开首都大约40分钟路程（距离吉隆坡不太近，但也不会太远，恰恰好呗）。

虽然她不是一座崭新的房子（屋身已经建造超过十多年），但外在条件看起来却像是一座刚刚凌工的房子。

房子的总土地面积约为35英尺宽和70英尺长（大约228平方米）。

在该房子还没出售之前，房主把房子租给了当地的大学生们。可是，当大学范围内的住宿设施全部建成后，这些学生们都不想再外租房了。

由于房子内有太多卧室（楼下有三间，楼上有四间），我们决定拆除其中一间额外的卧室，并将其改成更大的客厅！

我们不希望使用大铁锤敲打这石膏粉墙壁，因为它会损坏整个建筑物结构（如果我们对它施加过多的力量，水泥墙壁本身可能会皲裂）。

经过了一轮商量，我们决定使用了最耗时的方法来撕开石膏隔断墙——同时使用螺丝刀和电钻逐一拉出所有螺钉，然后一块块地撕开其石膏粉墙壁！

坦白说，这看似简单的过程，足足耗掉了我们超过8个多小时的光阴（从早上11:30到晚上8:30）。

与此同时，我们还爬上了阁楼，一并修理了漏水的蓄水槽（这是一项相对比较容易的任务，只需固定水浮阀，并使用胶带将其稳定即可）。

最令我们难忘恶心的一幕是——我们察觉到其中一个蓄水槽里漂浮着满满的蟑螂尸体（目测至少一打以上）。我们把这些蟑螂尸体给掏出来，再让那些水流出去（看到这些画面，我都不敢拿这些水来洗脸或者刷牙XD）。

对于这个项目，我个人的想法：这不是一项非常艰巨的工作，但是您确实需要一些体力和耐力，毕竟要不间断地攀爬和拆开那些石灰膏板。
