A Thirsty Lion (Ink Drawing)

Hello Everyone. I hope you're all having a wonderful time.
Earlier today, I made this wildlife drawing depicting a lion drinking water from pond. This is a scene that can be observed most times after these wild cats have just devoured a prey.

I made use of a black ball point pen and pelican paper for this drawing
Here are the steps involved;

First, I drew the outline of the lion and added its facial features. I also began shading it's mane in this stage.

I kept building the tones of the mane and drew the pond.

Finally, I added some more details to his face for a more appealing look.
