Is there anyone in the universe?

I recently read about the CHIME Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment project, a Canadian radio telescope capable of launching and capturing radio waves from the deep universe. In particular CHIME was born from the need to pick up some radio waves called Fast Radio Bust (Frb) a mystery until a few years ago.

In fact, one wondered what the origin of these waves was: some astrophysicists are convinced that these are movements of some celestial bodies or more powerful phenomena such as black holes. Some scientists do not rule out, although the percentage is very low, that they may be messages of an alien nature, sent from some planet billions of light years away.

This is incredible news and it has awakened in me the passion that kept me attached to TV as a child to watch movies like Independence Day or Close Encounters of the Third Kind. In fact, as a child I always wondered if there could be a living being like me somewhere in the universe. It is impossible that in an infinite space there are no solar systems like ours.

Often the encounter between man and hypothetical alien races is always told in a violent way: the fear that man has of what he does not know is translated into violence, war, occupation of the planet ... The first real enemies of the man we are ourselves and our actions are devastating the nature in which we live.

I believe something is somewhere ... In some galaxy ... And maybe one day it will be our only hope of survival.
