Water color painting by Milford Zones

This is my 2nd entry for the curation of @ntopaz "TALENT CURATION" contest.

I love water painting and can appreciate artists who create lines and fine lines in their drawings.

Today I want to introduce a great water color painting by Milford Zones.

Scroll through all the beautiful water color art work and you will be so impressed by its detail in the lines.

As an artist, I know that 'line' is the most important thing that stands out in a graphic art painting.

this is where Milford Zones shine out in all his art painting.

Once the lines are drawn with clarity and depth, then the painting follows.

Look at the piece of artwork of the trees here: You see the progression of lines that are directed in four ways:

• vertical lines
• angular lines
• curvy lines
• splattered horizontal lines

So for Mildred, as he paints the trees here, he will be having these directional thoughts in his mind:

• trees go upward so there will be vertical lines comint up from the ground
• trees have trunks so he needs to make some angular lines
• trees curve into branches, thus you see these curvy lines stretching out
• branches go horizontal, therefore some splattered horizontal lines here and there.

Mildred lived a full life of 100 years from 1908 to 2008
