That is a touching little story, and even if in the end he didn't get a great happy end, I'm glad that he could at least enjoy a little bit of Christmas.
The drawing is also well done and beautiful. I like the soft Christmas lighting that you put in this picture.

Thank you. Sometimes it seems that Christmas is only for those who can afford it. I wrote the story of the people who are not as fortunate.

Hi @goodnode, this was a lovely story with a beautiful drawing of yours. When i read the story, I could feel the helpless and hopeless of tom. I wish i were there, to give him something in christmas time. Although this only a story, I believed it happen in real life, a lot of homeless kid cannot enjoy and celebrate holiday season like most of us. I felt happy that although Tom is poor but he not poor in his kindness.
The drawing you draw it reflected it well, it show a homeless Tom stay in a cold weather. You really talent to have a story together with a drawing. You started the drawing first then follow by the story or vice versa?

It started with a thought. Picture next, then the writing. I found that the ideas came together stronger as I gave it time to form during the drawing.
I appreciate your comments. It is good to know that the message is transmitted well. We should try to remember those that cannot enjoy the season as well as some of us can.
You have a good intention to pass the message to others. When we celebrate with our family and friends in this season, we must remember a lot of unfortunate around who didn‘t able to celebrate it with their love one. We must spread our love to them as well.
You must be a very caring person from your thought to write this story. How long you took from the thought until you finished the story @goodnode.
