🎨💡 Almost my best draw from this months

in #ntopaz5 years ago (edited)

This is actually an old draw ... old and lost. After my mother threw it away thinking it was garbage. I still don't understand this even after a month.

This was part of a school project. I was hoping I could do a full post ... but things happens.... and things is that someone unexpectedly thought this was an sketch... i mean who in the world thinks this could even be close to be an sketch?

Process

The process was simple, I started with fine lines and basic forms. I will admit this draw became a challenge, being the first time I make such a complete and realistic figure.

The legs was my favorite area.

For the process was going little by little, began with lighter strokes and going to the dark.

The back was what cost me most of all. Too much detail in one zone. Little by little I had to go with the most important details to the point that I am now. i also had to check the reference a lot of time... even still i think i made a lot of mistakes in the draw.

Black Outs

For the time venezuela has gotten some black outs; i have light more or less 10 hours every days, so I will have to stay with short post for the time until i move out side; though i will try to stay as active as possible, stay tune :D

When I was a college student, I draw the nude croqui. It was a fascinating experience to understand the human body. I guess it is the hardest to draw the hand and foot. But you express it so well. Beauty composition sense of volume texture, all of them are expressed so well. I think it is not a sketch but an art work. Wanna see your next masterpiece ~~~~^^

Very nice drawing! Did you draw it from life? I like the details of the legs a lot, too, specially the ankles and how you displayed the weight shift through the slanted pelvis. I also love the muscles of the back and the negative space created by the raised arms. It's too bad you lost it.

I am so sorry that your mom threw it away. This is such a pity!

It's a perfect anatomy study. You built the muscles realistically, the proportion are spot on and his movement looks so natural. It actually looks like he was stretching his back :)

I am sure that you will draw something even better and that you will forget about this lost one :)

Thank you for sharing and have a good day!

Oh 🙀 amazing anatomy study @edanya!

Well I've seen people using the word sketch for any sort of things, like pieces of concept art that you would kill for painting like that and the author posts it like "Oh here a quick sketch I did" xD

Anyway sorry to hear you lost this piece, it was looking really good!
On the brightside you can do it again and i'll probably be better 😉

Hugs for Kothy la Chocolatera xD
