Night.
Greetings to all.
Our dreams on a bright night.
Today no watercolor to show but I share an oil painting on canvas.
A night in an ancient country where the light of the stars predominates.

Light that spreads widely from the sky, and is reflected on the houses, on the stones.
A country with a metaphysical atmosphere, where I wanted to let a glimpse of the suspension of time.

Everything is still and bright, a stage where the stones play the part of spectators who
illuminate the scene.
A burlesque figure hidden behind the wall, the child in us.

The pictorial matter is very thick, with pasty and dense brushstrokes.
A painting that I cared about and that was bought by a client in Moscow.
I hope the painting inspires you good feelings.

Notte.
Saluti a tutti.
I nostri sogni in una notte luminosa.
Oggi nessun acquarello da mostrare ma condivido un dipinto ad olio su tela.
Una notte in un paese antico in cui predomina la luce delle stelle.
Luce che si diffonde ampiamente dal cielo, e si riflette sulle case, sulle pietre.
Un paese dall'atmosfera metafisica, dove ho voluto lasciare intravedere la sospensione del tempo.
Tutto è fermo e luminoso, un palcoscenico dove le pietre recitano la parte di spettatori che illuminano la scena.
Una figura burlesca nascosta dietro il muro, il bambino che c'è in noi.
La materia pittorica è molto spessa, con pennellate pastose e dense.
Un dipinto a cui tenevo molto e che è stato acquistato da una cliente di Mosca.
Spero che il dipinto vi ispiri buone sensazioni.
