RE: NO Questions

in NO Communitylast year

I'm just a small potato writer among my friends on Medium and Substack. Most of them are English-speaking, and their posts are incredibly well-articulated, covering long and deep topics. Everyone is so active in engagement there, which is something that I'm not seeing much here. When I first started out, I'd comment, but no one responded, and I quickly ran out of quota—maybe it's also because my vote doesn't carry any value yet. I'm still figuring out how Steemit works, especially since we also get paid on Medium; it's just that they've undergone restructuring, and all of us are facing pay cuts. Many of them left for Substack, but Substack isn't paying unless we get paid subscribers. It would be nice if all the familiar writers came here.

"Small potatoes" can grow... :-))
It would be really nice if some of your writer friends joined Steemit. The lack of quality can grow, too... ;-)
I really appreciate that you try to understand the Steem. Be patient with yourself. And please never compare to others, especially not concerning the rewards. Don't take part in the race for rewards, concentrate on good writing. Not too often because a lot of human curators (we Steemians are all curators, wether in a team or not, wether a high stake or not...) won't follow you in this case. A lot of ur follow their feed. They love gems inside, they are not very interested in always seeing/reading the same person. You will be successful, I'm sure, dear potato... ;-)

I hope to invite them over soon!

I'm also actively searching for writers who focus on the kind of writing we were used to on other platforms.

I read denmarkguy's work the other day, and it was exactly the type of story that resonated with us.

Thank you, Christiane. I truly hope this "small potato" can find a nice home to grow here.
