Think of a time when you laughed your head off one of those times when you found yourself laughing and it was impossible to stop. Remember how it felt, what you were thinking and feeling vividly.

Start chuckling to yourself as you do this until you are laughing continuously.

As you giggle away, start thinking of the thing you used to fear and notice as you laugh how it begins to change in your mind. Notice that, as you laugh, when you think about it, the sub-modalities of the fear change in front of your very eyes, as does the way you feel about it!
