light pollution

have you ever heard of light pollution? I remember when I was a teenager, I read something about how difficult is it to find a proper place on the planet to construct an astronomy center and watch the sky, since the lights in the night from cities are considered as noise.

I can imagine now the challenge is way more difficult than those years!!

but it's beautiful isn't it?!
