FAMOUSE BUTTERFLIES - In calabar,the eastern part of nigeria.calabar contain the world's largest diversity of butterflies. The cross river national park there are over 300 or more species of butterflies live including the beautiful papilio monachus,blue lolaus iasis and newly discovered Tetralhanis okwangwo butterfly
NOLLYWOOD- Nigeria film industry is the second largest in the world,its only india film industry known as bollywood is the larger.Nollywood is even larger than Hollywood,Nollywood release 100 movies every year
LANGUAGES- Nigeria has over 500 languages and 7% of the all the languages spoken on earth.Taraba state has more languages than 30 african contries combine.the most common native language in Nigeria are hausa,igbo and yoruba.Nigeria official and most common non-native laguage is English language
THE WALL OF BENIN- After great wall of china,the wall of benin is the second largest man-made structure on earth and its located in benin city(still exist till today) the stone wall,earthen ramparts and deep moats is 16,000km long and spread over an area of 6500sq km.the wall of benin was built between 800 and 1400AD to protect the royal precinct of the OBA
RELIGONS- Nigeria is half christian and half muslim,48.8% of the population practised islam while 50.8% are christians,the majority of muslims are in north and east while christians tend to be in south and west. 24.8% are catholic,74.1% are protestant and 0.9% belong to denominations
AFRICA LONGEST BRIDGE- The third mainland bridge is the longest bridge in africa,the bridge connects Lagos island to the mainland and is 11.8km(5 miles) long.it start from OWORONSHOKI on the Lagos mainland and ends at ADENIYI-ADELE inter change on the Lagos island

Its a nyc post. Because i wanted knowing facts about Nigeria. The part am not really satisfied with is the religion part where u said islam is practised more in the north and in the east. Actually i feel it is north and west and not east.. Pls can you review that.. Thanks
